The Oluyole Warriors are in a race against time to stay in the elite division at season’s end after another home draw confined them to the bottom of the league table on Wednesday
SHOOTING STARS 1-1 SHARKS
The Oluyole Warriors are in danger of a return to the lower league if results do not go in their favour in the remaining league games. They are presently last on the log after an insipid draw at home to Sharks.
Sharks had drawn 1-1 at home to Akwa United last Sunday while 3SC’s away tie with Sunshine Stars ended abruptly after reported case of fans' assault on a top official of the Oluyole Warriors.
Both sides needed all three points to improve their standing on the league table but Sharks' Fortune Omoniwari showed he was more business-like when he put his side ahead in the first half. However, the Oluyole Warriors fought back gamely and drew in the second half.
Sharks have 41 points while 3SC are on 38 points. Both clubs have played 31 games each.
BAYELSA UNITED 1-0 ENUGU RANGERS
Benin Republic international, Salomon Junior's 75th minute penalty kept the Restoration Boys in the race for the league title after a win over Enugu Rangers at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
Bayelsa United are second with 52 points while the Flying Antelopes are seventh with 45 points from 31 matches. They have exceeded their expectation in only their return to the top flight this season after relegation in 2009. They owe their performance to shrewd purchase in the transfer market and the midas touch of coach Isa Ladan Bosso.
ABS 2-1 SUNSHINE STARS
The Afonja Warriors grabbed the much desired three points at the Kwara State Stadium at the expense of Sunshine Stars.
Goals from Seun Sogbeso and Thomas Zenke put them on victory path before Ajani Ibrahim late goal proved to be consolation.

AKWA UNITED 0-0 HEARTLAND
The Naze Millionaires resurgence continued at the Uyo Township Stadium after they battled the home team, Akwa United to a draw.
Heartland have gone four games without a loss including three wins while Akwa United's quest to consolidate on their 1-1 at Port Harcourt against Sharks was neutralised by the Owerri side.
Heartland have moved to eighth position on the log with 44 points from as many games while Akwa United are on 42 points.
WIKKI TOURISTS 1-0 NASARAWA UNITED
The home team exerted their superiority to nick all points at the expense of visiting Lafia boys.
Wikki Tourists moved to 16th on the log but are still haunted by the drop zone.
Nasarawa United's new coach, Kadiri Ikhana couldn't save them from defeat which has further dampen their quest for another stint in the elite division next season. They are 17th with 39 points from 31 matches.
KANO PILLARS 1-0 ENYIMBA
There are contrasting reports on the top of the table clash with The Peoples Elephant said the game never ended but Pillars denied such allegation was untrue.
Gambo Mohammed had scored for Pillars in the 86th minute but the home fans swarm onto the pitch and it led to the abandonment of the league tie.
Pillars maintained their two points at the top with 54 points from 31 matches pending the official pronouncement from the League Management Company(LMC) while Enyimba dropped to fourth with 49 points from as many matches.
LOBI STARS 3-0 NEMBE CITY

Forgive Gberindyer and Abraham Peters are among the scorers for Lobi.
DOLPHINS 2-1 WARRI WOLVES
The Port Harcourt dwellers ensured that the Seasiders would proceed to Lagos with defeat in their last game before the Federation Cup final which comes up on Sunday.
Ifeanyi Egwin and Isiaka Olawale put Dolphins at the driver's seat before Joseph Osadaiye pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Dolphins improved to 44 points from 31 matches while Warri Wolves are on 45 points 29 ties.
GOMBE UNITED 3-0 KADUNA UNITED

Gombe United have 46 points from 31 matches while Kaduna United are on 41 points from 31 games.
EL KANEMI WARRIORS 1-0 KWARA UNITED
The Afonja Warriors slipped further in the race for the continent after they lost 0-1 to El Kanemi Warriors.
