Mark Webber believes Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso will be the strongest driver line-up on the grid next year when they pair up at Ferrari.
Raikkonen is set to shift from Lotus to Ferrari at the end of the year where he will join forces with Alonso. Webber believes the Italian team faces a challenge to build a car worthy of its two drivers.
"It's a very strong line-up and probably the best on the grid next year," he said. "I suspect on Sunday afternoons they are going to be very, very strong. The guys in Italy will have to build a very nice car for them, with a very nice turbo and a very nice engine. Then we'll see how they go."
Webber has had an intense intra-team rivalry with Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull since 2009, but despite their differences said there were aspects of his team-mate he would miss when he drives for Porsche in sports cars next year.
"We all miss a good rivalry, it's what we get out of bed for," he said. "We're sportsmen and as a competitive person you like to have the competition. I'll have competition next year but it will be different. There have been some good battles over the years"
