The Seasiders' marksman has said that it was painful that the club lost the Federation Cup final to Enyimba and missing out on the largesse of the Delta State governor
Warri Wolves striker Musa Najere was very close to tears after the Federation Cup Cup final loss to Enyimba as he and his teammates had lost the opportunity to redeem the largesse promised them by Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Najere told Goal that it was painful that they lost their opportunity to go on vacation in France and also become proud owners of brand new Toyota Avensis cars because they allowed Enyimba to beat them to the Federation Cup crown.
"We feel very bad as we have lost everything. We won't have a short vacation in Europe and the cars we had been promised by the governor are all gone when we were actually close to winning it," Najere toldGoal.
A penalty miss by Super Eagles' defender and team captain, Azubuike Egwuekwe during the shootout , saw Wolves concede the Federation Cup crown to Enyimba as it ended 5-4 after both sides played an entertaining 2-2 during the regulation time.
