The astute football administrator has commended the League Management Company for raising the standard of the Nigeria Professional Football League
Chairman of Enyimba International FC, Felix Anyansi has saluted the body saddled with the responsibility of managing the Nigeria league for playing a key role in giving the Nigeria Professional Football League a facelift.
In a chat with Goal, the supremo of the two-time Caf Champions League winners was full of praises for the board, describing their performance as impressive.
“For a very long time, we haven’t gotten this kind of situation where about five teams are in contention for the league title even with less than eight matches to go. That shows that the standard of Nigeria league has risen. Infact, there is progress. Besides, every team wants to win and that makes it more challenging,” Anyansi said.
Anyansi, in a personal evaluation of the season, said that the Nigeria league has achieved much to be appreciated since Irabor took charge as the chairman of the LMC.
“Nduka Irabor’s LMC has done pretty well in administration. He has brought prestige and restored confidence to the league and I want to appeal to people not to destroy but improve on this little progress,” Anyansi concluded.
