TENNIS:Robson tumbles out of Guangzhou Open

Laura Robson is out of the the Guangzhou Open after suffering a three-set defeat to Zheng Jie in the quarter-finals.
Robson, last year's beaten finalist, broke twice to take the first set 6-1. But China's Zheng - 23 places below her opponent in the world rankings at 58 - claimed the second set on a tie-breaker after a rain delay interrupted proceedings, with Robson's serve faltering.
Former world No. 15 Zheng then eased through the final set to win 1-6 7-6(6) 6-2 in two hours and 16 minutes. She will meet Puerto Rico's eighth-seeded Monica Puig in the last four.
Robson's compatriot Johanna Konta, the British No. 3, also tumbled out of the tournament, losing 7-5 6-3 to another home player, Zhang Shui.
Konta had made it through to the last eight after beating fourth seed Shuai Peng in straight sets on Wednesday.
