The France Under-20 international made an impressive first start for his new club at the Gerland and explained afterwards that his team-mates had made life easy for him
Lucas Digne has admitted that he found it "simple enough" to slot into the Paris Saint-Germain defence against Bordeaux on Friday night. The summer signing from Lille made his first start for Laurent Blanc's men in the game at the Stade de Gerland and was rarely troubled during what was a dominant performance from the victors, who prevailed 2-0 thanks to goals from Blaise Matuidi and Lucas.
The 20-year-old Digne admitted afterwards that it had all been as easy as it had looked for him.
"It is simple enough to play with great players like this," the full-back told Canal Plus. "They put one right at ease.
"We fought a good game. We had a stranglehold on the game, which bodes well for the future.
"It was a continuation of what we have been trying to do from the start of the season, but now we are gaining momentum."
The facile win propelled PSG to the summit of the standings but Monaco can reclaim top spot in Ligue 1 if they defeat Lorient at home on Sunday.
