Andy Murray has been drawn in the same half of the US Open as world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, as he bids to retain his crown at Flushing Meadows
Murray, seeded third, was drawn in the top half with the man he beat in last year's final. No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer are in the bottom half, along with Roger Federer, who is seeded seventh.
The event begins on August 26, with Murray facing Michael Llodra in the first round.
Nadal overhauled Murray as world No. 2 this week after winning back-to-back ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles in Montreal and Cincinnati.
